olive oil, for cooking and dressings;
lots of fish;
lots of fruit, vegetables, potatoes, beans, walnuts, seeds, bread and cereals;
small amounts of fatty cheeses and full fat yoghurt;
moderate amounts of wine, also used in cooking;
local, seasonal and – above all – fresh produce.
