THE RECEPTION IS DEFINITELY ESSENTIAL TO A SUCCESSFUL WEDDING DAY...

...and, to be absolutely perfect, it has to be held in a high-impact setting.
This is why Grand Hotel La Tonnara welcomes the bride and groom into an atmosphere made vaguely reminiscent of Hollywood by the beautiful entrance that greets them: a circular fountain set right in the centre, with lights to enhance the water as it dances, accompanying the car upon arrival into a very special, very attractive location, loved by both newlyweds and photographers.

Particular care is devoted to the layout and decoration, to make every reception unique, following the customised theme created by the flower arrangements in church and continuing it through to the table settings.



The guests are accompanied to the "Garden Party", a very attractive area by the pool, to await the bride and groom. This is the ideal location for pre-lunch or pre-dinner drinks and appetisers, decorated especially for the event, perfect for the service of prosecco, welcome cocktails, and different varieties of meat and fish, with corners reserved for fried and grilled foods.

Lunch or dinner is served in the main dining room, which can host up to 500 guests but can also be arranged to suit smaller numbers, with the "Sala Corallo" holding up to 200 guests, the "Saletta Azzurra" for 80, and the "Sala Perla" for up to 150. And if you’d prefer to stay by the pool, there’s "la Veranda", for receptions for up to 40 guests.

The kitchen is specialised in fish dishes, which are the foundation of every banquet. Alternatively, we offer an excellent quality menu featuring meat dishes.



The reception can be crowned by moments of musical entertainment. Our proposals range from a classical pianist to a piano bar style, male-female vocal duo, and so on. Entertainment is very popular, especially towards the end of the reception, to accompany a very rich and highly exclusive fresh fruit and dessert buffet, which is usually set out next to the pool and is opened by the cutting of the wedding cake.

The cake is cut by the bride and groom on a sheet of crystal level with the water inside a pool, accessed along a crystal walkway which, thanks to breath-taking lighting and smoke effects, creates the sensation that the cake is being cut on the water. Lastly, as they leave guests pass through the wedding favour corner, where the gifts are presented by the bride and groom, in keeping with a beautiful Italian tradition that is becoming popular again.
